Howzit Dave, Still haven’t gotten anything from Lance even though His friend Jeff picked up the lams I did for Lance. Do you have a ph # or e-mail address for Lance. Aloha, Kokua

Howzit Dave, Thanks I'll find Lance one way or another. Aloha, Kokua

Dave, can’t find pauls # right at the moment, but you can reach him through global glassing in san diego.

760-757-1975 He’s now living in north florida.

Howzit lokbox, Don’t know any Paul, I was trying to get in touch with Lance Ebert here on Kauai. Aloha, Kokua

Is he the laminator for wellman in waimea?

Howzit Lokbox, Yep that he is, but Lance has been doing some shaping these days. I just finished running off 60 laminates for him. Aloha, Kokua

Howz mike doing? Still glassing for Dick? Did a few polishes for him a couple years back. He was scrapping with his rub-out guy at the time. Tried to hire me on the spot but commitments here on the mainland kept me from making the move over. I often feel that was a mistake on my part for not taking him up on it. Would have probably clocked a couple hundred hours in the tube at rifles by now…

Howzit Lokbox, Dick uses different glassers these days ,he spreads his glassing around, using Jack Reeves on Oahu and John Delaney on Kauai. He even sends some boards to Hawaiian Blades which is owned by Max Medeiros. I'll bet the rubout guy you're talking about was Ernie the sander/polisher. I'm not sure if Mike is still working with Ernie. One of Ernies problems is he heats up the board to much when rubbing out and all his work shows the weave when he's done, which means he's setting back the cure time. Ernie once said that he thought I did better rub out/polish work but I reminded him that I'm not doing 8 to 10 boards a day. Aloha, Kokua

My brother works at Global. He just got me a board from Barga back in May. It works very well. Barga’s a great shaper.

is paul the shaper of quiet flight?

I’m not sure if he shapes for them. He has his own label now though and the boards look and work great.

Barga shapes bargas. Joe johnson shapes the quiet flights.
