Paul's Hallow Fish For Sale?

I was at the Beach House in Santa Barbara today and I saw Paul Jensens hallow fish for sale in there. I have to say that the board is even more amaizing close up, just amaizing craftmanship. It is going for $1000 and looks to be worth every penny.

yes, his boards are amazing, beautiful and well constructed, but for 1000 bucks I can build 15 hollow boards. not as beautiful as Jensen’s ones, but still very functional. my wooden lis fish cost me about 40 dlls. Jack.

Before the fish leaves the swaylock circle i want to to thank Paul for sharing it. Paul i surfed better than i ever have on a board i never thought i could ride. Every wave i got on it in Big Sur took me deeper, steeper and faster than i imagined i could ever go. I got a lifetime wave on it during one of the choppy late afternoon sessions. That fish rode really well not to mention it was a first class head turner. Chase also had a blast riding it at Sand Dollar. Thanks again. Darren

well, when i build a board for myself or for a good friend i don’t consider labor costs. it’s a truly pleasure to build it. working with wood, starting with sheets of plywood and ending with a surfboard is very rewarding to me. Jack.

It is forsale but its 1700.00,like you said worth every penny!!

I went in there yesterday and upped the price to $2500.00. Still, worth every penny.

Ok seriously, I went in the Beach House today, not yesterday, didn’t change the price or anything like that. I found it lingering in the used board room, beautiful swallow tails pressed against the hard floor. What a pity as it should be hanging in the window. Any collectors out there aught to check this board out as it is one of a kind.

So is the board a grand or $1700?

Thanks,

Nilus

I missed seeing that yesterday when I was there I’ll have to go back and check it out it looks amazing.

Yes it is still 1700.00

I did not ride it, but I held it up at SA04. It is a beauty and a great piece of craftmansip. Many rode it and raved about it. Get it out of the “used board room” and into a window where it can be seen, admired and purchased.

Skip that floor has carpet it isnt shag but isnt concrete your gonna freek Paul out, I took it there, keep a eye on it for me. Hope your hip is doin alright.KP

If I wasn’t married I would buy it. That is a nice board.

The Jenson fish just sold , you snooze you lose.
