Nothing to do really with board design but a lot to do with surfing. When a big peak swings your way the next best thing to riding it is giving it to one of your bros and asking him (her) how it was as they paddle back out. If you don’t understand this you’re only a pretender. aloha

Amen.

Amen. I suppose some feel that getting every wave to themselves is really great, but sharing them with a few friends is the best way for me.

…spent last Sunday morning sharing waves with friends and even more rewarding with our kids. Two 12 year old boys enjoying an exceptional day with us. Watching their faces light up when they are hooted on by the older guys on the peak, an 80 yd. wall and their faces on the return to the lineup. It was priceless. I feel that our passion is more than a sport, you commune with God, Nature, and your fellow man when you are enveloped by Mother Ocean. I hope to give one up to all of you in the future… Magoo

I suppose some feel that getting every wave to themselves is really great, > but sharing them with a few friends is the best way for me. I’ve been trying to convince my buddy who has an insanely hot girlfriend this same principle.

This last sunday I brought both my boys, 5yrs and 3yrs out on the 12’ paddle board. The Monterey bay was warm and breezy,no real swell, birds, pelicans diving for fish, afternoon sun burning fog away, the smell of new wax and ocean foam, two kid groms eyes wide with wonder. these are the days.
