Pearson Arrow- Twin

Saw an interesting outline on the beach last weekend. A Bob Pearson shape, 9’0", 19"N,21.5"W,12.5"T, rockered like a 9’5"S blank, Twin Fins at 12" on a very pulled in tail. (add 2" and the tailblock would have been a pin) Anyone here ride or shape one of these or have comments pros or cons? TS

It is fast, still nose rides although a little shaky but can ride like a shortboard off the tail. It is a favourite when it gets a bit solid. Holger

Thanks Holger for the info. It was actually Nigel’s boards that I had seen some years ago offering this design commercially. I posted last year for info and couldn’t find any takers. His design looked very similar to the more recent Pearson interpretation but with variation in fin template and placement. Would be interesting to make a board with 8" boxes to play with the fin templates and positioning. TS
