I am wondering if the performers and lightwieghts of '66 and '67 had distinctly pinched, 50/50 rails, turned up some in the tail and down some in the nose? What were the other characteristics that made them good noseriders (tail rocker, concave in nose, thinly folied, etc.)? Secondly, what is the best way to get pinched rails? I have only done modern down rails, hard in the tail. Are the rail bands put into the deck first, followed by a similar banding on the bottom? What about the turned up tail and down nose? Looking forward to hearing from the experienced swayholics, guys that have been doing it for years (and saw it in the late '60’s). Thanks for any info and happy surfing- connor
