pigment and epoxy compatibility?

Getting ready to glass a nice egg for my wife, she wants it blue and metalic gold. So I’m going to visit my local automotive paint supplier tomorrow to get some supplies, including some pigments. I’ve found that they have a wide variety of pigments metalics florencents, etc…

I wonder if there are any pigment types that I should avoid since they might not be compatible with RR epoxy?

just do test panels to make sure it works better to waste money on pigment that doesn’t work than ruin a lam

That’s a good idea - why didn’t I think of it…

Got the pigment today. The guy at the shop had to mix it by hand to get what I wanted. Looks real nice!

I’ll setup a test panel tomorrow to check it out.
