I’m looking to start up a new board, liking the looks of these older (?) Mc Coy Nugget shortboards. (note attachment)
Anybody out there happen to have incremental planshape dimensions for one of these boards (preferably a near 7’)? Any Nugget owners willing to help a brother out by measuring @ 6-12 inch increments? I think it’s probably pretty important to get that rear half of the board just right.
The “loaded dome” is yet another story, but I’ll cross that bridge later…
Yo A.N., thanks for the reply. Sorry so late geting back to you. I’d LOVE to get some numbers from you on your Nugget. That’s a tad bigger than what I was lookin’ for, but it’ll certainly work. I don’t know how you do it, but usually I’ll measure width at 1 foot intervals, then maybe at 3 inch intervals for the first and last 12 inches (nose and tail). Also, how far back from center is the wide point on that sucker?
