…so, how did you wanna shape a longboard out of an 8 5 blank? That s the main error; those blanks have different rockers regarding what all longboards should have. Hence all those other dimensions were complicated to obtain the desired foil.
Now also you have an overshaped blank so will be too soft.

Here’s my hunchbacked pregnant monstrosity.

A 9’3" carved out of a 10’6" clark blank purchased and originally intended as a 10’4" noserider. It was my third ever board and was the first board I ever glassed solo.

triple 6 glass job, initially. Yes it is soft and dings easy.

I rebuilt it in 2012 after trying it with a smaller fin and deciding it could not be let to break in half.

It has given me a lot of joy over the last 20 years and is very versatile.

The black spot on the rail is Carbon fiber. Rail was crushed by rocks. I Rebuilt rail shell over the void. So far so good.
