I think there’s a lot of solids in good epoxies but dont know the base…almost everything is petro based these days…

Epoxy is based on hydrocarbons which can be dirived from oil, coal, or vegetable sources like corn oil. Which is used has to do with supply and price.

Greg, are there currently vegtable oil derived epoxies on the market for any application?
