sit and spin 3rd world import kooks. ha ha. This lockout hurts Hawaii a lot worse than the third world. We’re the ones being held hostage and we don’t even have a say in the matter. The third world will keep making their crappy boards and when the lockout ends there will be a massive amount of boards imported due to the large inventory they’ve piled up. In the mean time Hawaii will run out of materials and can’t make boards. I heard on the news last night that they are opening up shipping to Alaska but not Hawaii. I thought we were still a part of the U.S… Aloha, Kokua

If you’ve never experienced a shipping strike then count your blessings,it’s a lot better than counting your rolls of T.P. and wondering, do I have enough. Aloha, Kokua

sit and spin 3rd world import kooks. ha ha. CLARK Foam blanks are delivered to Hawaii in containers, as is just about everything else. With the lockout and the winter season beginning it could have been tough for the little guy to get material. Fortunately the distributor says they are not going to allow a run on foam. A guy that usually orders 10 blanks will not be allowed to order 50 i.e etc. The same can’t be said about COSTCO and T.P. Kokua hit the nail on the head it’s the export that gonna hurt America, not to mention all the I.L.W.U. members. The answer to COSTCO and SURFTECH boards is in the CLARK FOAM letter to the industry (see archive).
