Currently restoring an unloved 5’9 Golden Breed square tail single fin. The rails and botton have been hacked at and previous rail repairs have rotted so have been busy repairing rails and re-constructing the tail. I need to re-paint the hull- but before painting and gloss coating i need to fill the many compressions - anyone got any good ideas, i think i am just going to tackle each compression at a time. Dont really want to peel of all the glass and re-laminate.
fill with a paste of finely chopped cloth mixed with sanding resin, then sand flush before painting & gloss-coating.
