hello everyone. i am new to swaylocks and surfing. today i bought a 7’7" becker. it is dinged up i need to put a fiberglass glass patch. on two dings. there is a crack up the at bottom on the rail about three inches. delamination nothing to worry about ( ithink if it is please let me know). i am not sure how to do it i looked at the posts and there is not enough detail (i need details please). i would like to know if there is a way to replace the glassed in fins with fin boxes. thanks u in advanced for every thing.

If you know absolutly nothing about fiberglass repair you may want to take it to a shop.
Its about 30 bucks per ding and they may do the fin boxes too.
the supplies will cost you about $50 but you will have plenty of leftovers
or you could get a tube of dingall suncure or whatever its called
it depends on how bad the damage is
If you want to tackle this yourself ,you shoud get a book or instructional video and bone up!

If you can post pictures of the dings I’m sure you will get instructions in fixing them. If you are new to surfing why do you want to remove the glass ons? Mike
