I just sanded my toasty boxes yesterday and there is one thing to keep in mind…wipe the soot off or give them a bit of a scrub on the upper bout. If you don’t, when you sand them down there will be a little sooty pinline between the box and the resin filler. No problem for me but might be for others…
If the boxes were not paid for, I’m sure there are many of us who would be happy to take them off his hands. What’s the shipping costs to send them to Hawaii?
The probox system is great. So much to mess with that it’s like having multiple boards. We’ve been using them since Robin started selling them. All those custom fins available are also great.
Now if you could find a way to make minor adjustments to the tow, you’d have the ultimate box. I think you can mess with the inserts and come up with small changes in the tow angle.
I agree SC.
Even a minor adjustment…64th or 32nd of an inch could change the way the board feels.
As a surfer, the problem then becomes experimenting with the different angles.
You got 50-60 fin choices, 5 angles of cant, and then 3 or 4 angles of toe? Then mixing and matching?
Good lord! It could be enough to make a guy crazy(er)! lol
