The seller says; that one is new in the box. If it can be had for a few hundred or more off the Shapers Aus. price it would be a good deal. Profided you were up in some remote part of the world where you could not avail yourself on the services of a CNC machine such as Spences' or others in your area. Otherwise if you use a Shapers Aus. profiler it is just a matter of applying an appropriate router suitable to 120-140. Although I am not sure whether said profiler will accomodate the length you speak of.
Build one yourself Gene… or have one made. Maybe you can get Steve Huerta to talk about the two that he has for ideas… if you haven’t already.

Hey Gene,
Is it a time issue for you?
If not I'd say build one...Basic welding and/or carpentry skills. I have worked with a few different ones, all shaper-built to varying degrees of success. (Only as good as the templates...) The common denominator has been simplicity.
I currently work with a self-built number made entirely of MDF, based around a router I already had rather than required to purchase, and specialised for my construction.
It's very do-able...

Hi DR and SN, I’d love to build one but I have waaaay too many other projects lined up and waiting.
I got a great connect on one pm’ed to me that i’ll be checking out. thanks to those that posted
gene, do you by chance know Steve Seebold? He can build a nice profile jig, has lots of experience with them. I understand you not wanting/having time to do it yourself, but it's sooo simple once you've seen a good one. A leveled, straight buck; quick-change ''rails''; a carriage with changeable ''plates'' for router to ride; and a location/index mechanism for blank, that's all there is to it.
You do some incredible old-school work btw. Guys like you and Jim Phillips set the bar pretty high for all the young guns emulating your craft.
Thanks mike, lots of desire but no time. I’m looking for something thats been put out to pasture and is sitting there longing to be used again.
Unless you find one with rocker rails to your specs, and deck and bottom (side-to-side) curves you like, you're going to have to make those things anyway. That's about 50% of the work; so that's why I'd suggest you consider doing your own. Or contact someone who can build one to your specs.
Found one. Thanks for your input Mike.
That didn't take long. Good for you!
