Props to Mr. J.

Gotta say there were some really neat and unique boards (prone and stand-up) at Big Sur…But Mr. J’s asymetric thruster impressed me the most. The fins and leash probably weighed more than the board and the lam was absolutely dent proof. He shows up all of us garage builders with his bedroom-built rocket ship built from Home Depot materials and a whole lot of “go for it attitude”…Way to go!!!

Hey Lee I concure that board was great . Looked like it came from Greenoughs hands too cool Mr J keep it up .

count me in on the positive jaw dropping realities of minimalist rendeing of the form. This morning my mind fix in space was in our own image, this lightweight efficiency projectile was such a reflection of michael’s physical self, compact light any structurally sound beyond building code requiements.truely a master’s piece the subsequent boards from the Mr. Jones Labs are anxiously awaited …just think how a real work space could affect the formula …?.. ambrose… adventure capital from the 7+7 Michael Jones is not an actor… michael dont sign anything just take their money but double it

Props for sure. I stumbled across his diary in the archives and couldn’t stop reading.

I think the only way I could top his “can do” is to lose my job, move in with my inlaws, and attempt to build a board in their kitchen while they sleep at night.

any photos of the board mentioned please, for this non big sur er , on the other side of the equator ?

[archive search under “mr. J’s diaries”, otherwise ??]

        cheers
