Well I rode it as a thruster this evening, and I have to say it is like night and day compared to the quad setup. I was mostly surfing backside so I didn’t do much frontside pumping, but I felt way more confident on the backside bottom turns and lip hits and it rode top to bottom very well. So I think the TRI setup is working for now, hopefully it will continue to be good once I get some frontside surf.
Yeah, I am pretty sure its the rails as well, but I am being optimistic ha. I surfed it as a twin fin a couple days ago and it seemed to drive and pump better than as a quad, so hopefully it will be decent.
