quad fish question..

…hi guys; ive got a customer who wants a “mini” fish (5´4´´) for his kid.

…the kid rides in an average level for his age…

… i dont know if a quad set up works well for a kid (due to the power in his feet)…

…quad, cause is more versatile than keel fins for a fish, also i think that a 8 years old kid dont have the power to move a fish with keel fins…

…quads a la R Pavel , may be with turbo ones…

…the shape will got small area…(not 21-23´´)

…well, i need opinions…

thanks

REVERB

…c mon guys…

Nope, not the fins being the problem.

The width of the tail of the board is the problem.

Narrow it appropriately, and don’t matter if you go Bonzer 7 or single fin, it’s easy to bank over to turn.

Just make it as you know how, cut fins down as needed to make it easier for him to turn.

Then when you cut too much off the fins, you can build him another board!!!

No question the quad fish will be easier for the little guy to throw around. I think that’s why these boards have become so popular. Easier for the big guys to throw around too!

…well, thanks boys…; may be is kind of the trial an error thing again…
