quad or tri fun gun

Hoping some of you can enlighten me on design theory. So here we go.

If you take a 7’10" x 21 x 3 fun gun , “one a tri and one a quad”, would one turn easier than the other while standing more foreward on the board?

If “different” would would be a better word than “better” ,please explain how they would turn differently.     Thanks so much!

it depends on fin placement and template, it is believed that a quad will not pivot as well as a thruster but with the right bottom shape, tail planshape curves, rocker, fin placement and template, you can have a quad that has great pivot as well as the benefits of additional hold and drive...in my opinion...definitely not against thrusters but think a really good quad has a few benefits for alot of waves and surfers....

Well said Pridemore -

Kinda not answering your question, but maybe you should consider a 2+1 or even a single fin setup for a board like that.

Just my opinion though so take it for what it's worth. good luck with the board

I have considered it Lance. And are you still going to sell me your board?

Lance??? I think you have the wrong person.

But if I was Lance I would sell it to you :)
