Anyone have feedback on quad / thruster convertable fin setups? I’m wondering if there is any noticeable drag or other effect from having the empty fin plugs under the board while riding?

In case of the futures boxes, I saw boards that are filled with a “cut off base” of a fin. I dont know if futures makes this things or were made by someone.
tow and kite surfers used them, no place for drag issues.
