i want to make a quad but dont want it to be a ‘fish’ shape. any ideas on another outline?

Gordo, pick a shortboard witha wide tail and figure out how to arrange your fins and what bottom contours to use. a quad like a thruster is just a fin set up, you can have it on any board.

Here is one I did …I used a diamond tail and made the 12T dimension .25" wider than what I would use for a Thruster set-up.
