question about a used board i found for sale

I found this board for sale today.

Shaped by someone at Frierson

8’4" long, 21+ wide (not over 22", i dont remember exact width) 3 1/8" thick!

squash tail, pointed nose with decent amount of rocker, 3 small’ish FCS fins.

what the heck kind of board is this? big guy “short board”?

i’m 6’3" 220 and i’m thinking that would float me better than my 9’0 twice-snapped-longboard but i dont know what style of riding it would be.

they said they’d sell it to me for $269, with leash and fins. it’s got a few small repaired dings on it, nothing big, no snaps or major work done to it. it’s a tad yellow from age but not much. nothing like my two other finely aged boards.

any thoughts? like what kind of board design might it be and without looking at it, best guess if it’s worth the price?

sounds like a “Funboard” “Hybrid”

Where are you?

virginia beach. looking at some “big boy” board pics online, it definatly looks like a big boy board though i think it’s just bigger than the usual at 8’4".

Howzit king, Since it’s 3 1/8" thick it sounds like a hybrid for a kinda big guy just like kensurf says. Aloha,Kokua

If it’s shaped by Bill Frierson get it he’s a great shaper and one of the founders of WRV. When he sold WRV the soul left!
