Question for the Fin Mavens

I’d appreciate opinions on what single fins I might try to loosen up a “tracky” Surftech McCoy Nugget that’s 7-11, 14 1/2 x 21 3/4 x 17 x 3 3/8. The standard “gullwing” fin was used.

Note that the board is a pig shape variation, substantially rockered, convex bottomed with a hard railed tail. I did move the fin fully forward and I am (or was) familiar with the response characteristics of mid-size displacement singles.

Thanks…

Laconic try Liddles 9.0 or 9.5 also 9.0 Norm and Greenoughs four C 9.5 check them at truames.com. I have lots of boards with wide tails, not quiet like McCoys but close in concept. Post your progress.KP

I used a Liddle 9.0" flex fin in a similarly shaped 6’6". The board was real loose. Tracking wasn’t an issue.

Thanks, guys. Retro it is, with the L-flex 9-0.
