Que tal amigos! I’ve started re-shaping a broken board into a small fish (4’10 -5’3). What tool can I use to take down the stringer if I have limited resources? I live in Costa Rica and proper gear is hard to come by. Any suggestions are welcome. Pura Vida
Mini plane, about 10 bucks, used across the stringer to take it down, then lengthwise to finish.
Sureform, a sheetrock finishing tool.
Obviously, a power planer.
If you had to you could shape the whole board with a $20 surform and a piece of sandpaper.
