Re: surf movie reels 1-14 what the f#$%!

Surfers Journal, a publication that is highly-touted within the posts on this site, offered this: Reviewed in The Surfers Journal, Volume Eleven Number Three/Summer 2002 by Scott Hulet “…underscored by a spot-on, angular bit of guitar work. Indeed, the music in Surf Movie is worthy on its own. Custom scored by NYC soundsmith Richard Fortus with the goal of ?..creating a dialog between music and picture,? the tracks beautifully interpret the visuals. All in all this is a jewel-like, non-traditional film I?ll enjoy watching (or just listening to) again and again.” So what do you guys think? Anybody enjoy watching (or just listening to) this film “again and again”?

This topic for discussion was attempted on Longboard.net. But the discussion wasn’t very interesting. Good footage of bonzers at small Pipe. Good music. I like the tandem sea kayak ruining the end of Tudor’s ride. Unedited. Perhaps Damascus should stop editing the Glassing footage and just release the 4 DVD volumn.
