Red X Question

First time installing the red X boxes. Questions regarding the install:

Are the tabs indicated below resting on top of the glass, on bottom of the board? (then sanded off after setting)

I pour with deck side facing down?

And if i’m correct. All the fins come with a 4* cant and you can work your way from there if you want more.

Tom sent me the install sheet but i’m missing a page and still a tad unsure.

The tabs at the ends of the box rest on the edges of the glass patch left after routing you hole. The length of the hole just allows for the box to hang on the tabs. The installation kit includes allignment tools that allow you to add cant and keep it set relative to the bottom contour. But, a vertically hung box will yeild 4 degrees with our side fins.

Hey FS,

It took me awhile to wire the system,but in a short time,I figured out the how’s and can do anything I want with them.They’re rock tough and Tom is a wiz at building a better mouse trap foresure.

I’ve tried many systems but always comeback to Red-X because nothing compares to it,NOTHING ! Herb

so they are sanded off after setting them in, correct?

I’m guessing the box is sanded down to the first lip below the tabs after everything is set?

When those tabs and lip are gone you’re at the max you can get out of the box. You can take up to the first 1/8" off. But, less is better.
