I work as a system administrator who has a three-four year replacement cycle on over 500 computers.
The cardboard is recycled no problem but the foam is often thrown out.
After years of looking at it I decided I might be able to reuse the packaging foam.
The below is from the packeging foam and measures 18" long X 8.5" WIDE and 2" thick.
What has thrown me is HOW to get a decent sized semi clean blank.
Stringer in the middle?
Perimeter stringer?
It readily accepts polyester resin.
