I’m reglassing a large delamination that includes the top, bottom and both rails on a longboard. I’m overlapping top & bottom lainations on the rails b/c I noticed the glass I removed was thicker on the rails, but the new glass is not coming up to the level of the old glass. It’s fine on the top and botom - it’s only a problem on the rails. Should I have added a few strips of glass just on the rails or some cabosil/resin before overlapping the top and bottom glass? I currently have 2 layers of 4oz on both the top and bottom resulting in 4 layers of 4oz on the rails. Also, what’s the difference between q-cell, cabosil and microbubbles (I think that’s what it’s called)? Thanks a lot -George
