Rather than post a question, I thought I would drop a link to photos of my Fish that I have just finished repairing.
Thanks to everyone at Sways for their help - even if they didn’t realise it.
Almost every step I made was preceded by a lot of time searching the forums here for answers.

Very nice repair. The pigment issue, although time consuming as well, with trial and error testing, can be resolved with an almost perfect match. All it takes is the right piment bases. I’ve been able to get a variety of colors to match with white, yellow, brown, black, red and blue tints.
