tough call, guy called Gary has been around since before I was surfing, his good but doesn’t take on too much work these days.
I’m shit hot but not quite as good as the best when it comes to colour matching and making it look invisible, I’m the only local repair guy that will repair epoxy, sandwich or wooden boards.
A friend called Pete does good repairs during the summer and If i’m too busy I pass work over to him, and he passes the bigger jobs over to me if he can’t do them. I just repaired his personal board, Its a bit of an honour when other repair guys come to you to get there personal boards repaird.
I want to make more time to go surfing and make my own stuff so I think I’m going to cut back on the number of jobs I do this year.
