Replica or The real thing?

as far as the general idea of that shape, but also different - ever looked at the "Bob"boards. Bob Pearson’s personal design is a super wide nose to tiny pintail - he does them as 2 + 1 also twin fins, but I’v seen a guy with a quad too.  I just picked a really trahsed one that I repaired, but I haven’t tried it yet…  any way they look Scorpion-ish, and you’ve got a guy in town that has made that model for years.

you could also get Jon Mel to make a version - he has Scorpions in his shop…, and makes a groovy retro, and is super open to all kinds of hybrid stuff

having said all that, though it does seem to make sense to get one by DT’s ghost shapers - hell, if you think about it, some of those dudes probably shaped even more of those Scorpions than Donald - that’s what production guys do! And it might be kind of fun getting a board while on a trip.  I once brought back a Charlie Smith pintail from Maui- loved that board, it was a cool momemto of my trip too.

My friend just pulled this out of his storage and showed it to me … looks pretty fun and similar to the Scorpion.  It’s 8’6 x 19 1/4 x 22 1/4 x 12 7/8 x 2 3/4.  Look how thin the tail is …

borrow it & go ride it!
