Hi, i’m new here. i couldn’t find an answer to my question by searching so here goes. i purchased 4 litres of laminating resin the other day which comes in a big tin. My question is the resin is very hard to manage in such a large tin. what kind of smaller containers would be safe to divide my resin up into some smaller more managable portions?
My second question is, can i mix in my uv cure to the resin at the time of purchase? how long will it last if i was to do that?
thanks for your reply, yeah 4litres is 1 gallon, sorry i’m new to this. normally i just do repair work on boards for family and freinds… i’m used to buying resin in 1litre containers. i’m worried when i start glassing a board i’m going to end up with resin all over my floor. where would i buy one of these pumps?
I use empty landrey soap jugs, the kind with the spout that drains back into the jug. It takes alot of water to rinse these out but they really work well. I buy resin in 5 gall pails then offload into one of these a gal at a time.
