I just did a dark resin swirl [came out pretty cool… kind of ghost-like… pics to come]. Anyway, I lost the cut lap tape line because the colors were so dark. Next time I plan on using two or three layers of tape when I do such an opaque resin tint or swirl. I had to get a really powerful 500 watt work light to find the tape line from underneath.
Hopefully someone else can benefit from my whoops. Multiple layers would have put a nice ridge to cut along.
