I wanted to tint a board a sort of light gray color and use a laminant. Should the lam go uder the cloth as usual or could I use some lam resin on the laminant over the cloth? Found some pigments at Mitch’s (LaJolla) but I’m afraid if I mix black pigment with some white to make gray that it might come out too opaque. Same with a board for my girlfriend that I wanted to make a pinkish color any have a laminant on. Any suggestions?
stick the laminate on after the lamination using lam resin and be careful when sanding the hotcoat.

Howzit oneadam10, Do like Austin said but put a piece of 4 oz flberglass over the lam, it will help protect it when you sand the board.Aloha, Kokua
