i'm going to be doing a new logo on my boards, printing from my laser jet. is there a source for laminate paper specific for use under poly glassing or do you guys just buy from office dept or some such? thanks in advance for responses.
most art supply/craft places stock rice paper for calligraphy - many of them work just fine.
Laser jet printers though, don’t - or at least that’s my recollection. Wrong “ink”… you might want to search the archives on that topic.
Color Laser Printers and copiers use silicone oil as part of the process. Some use just a little some use a lot. Some machines have the oil built into the toner and some add it at the fusing section where the toner gets melted into the paper. Silicone oil and resin, especially epoxy, do not mix well. Be careful. I'd stick to ink jet or have them screen printed.
