Enjoy!
Thanks for sharing that. That is true stoke and true aloha.
That was really great! A person I know would like to try…
Very nice.
check the website- www.rideawave.org
if you are ever in santa cruz get in touch and we will put you to work- these things take a lot of volunteers!
Hallo Steiny,
i would really like it, but I live in Italy! It would just be great to come there, but right now I have no such plans. It’s a lot of road to there…
Thanks for inviting!
Stefano
it is a long paddle. likewise- i don’t leave my neighborhood much. maybe someday! many italian families here in santa cruz- mostly genovese and tuscano.
Yeah, very long paddle to there. I guess the spots worth such a trip!
I’m from genova too, and that’s funny! But after all a guy from Genova “discovered” the Americas, so he must have taken along with him many relatives… just kidding.
Hope your great project turns out good.

Wow… that’s really touching. I’d be down for helping out sometime. My 18 year-old daughter is at UCSC. She could round up some of her friends and lend a hand too.
Kendall
You and your daughters help would be very much appreciated. There are many volunteers your daughters age so she will fit right in. If you have any questions that the website does not answer, Steiny or myself would be happy to answer them for you.
Christian
Kendall- I just want to second what Christian said, your daughter and friend’s help would be most appreciated and the young people who volunteer at ride a wave are the best (except that steinberg kid!). It is a good chance for students from the U to meet local kids/lifeguards/surfers. You too please feel welcome. Signing up ahead of time is essential. If the website doesn’t help send me a PM and we will get the ball rolling. Also, Kendall, if you are down in town feel free to contact me- we have plenty of boards and would love to go for a surf. Regards, Steiny
