Over the years I’ve found that the one that fits the best is the best. I’ve tried all of em on. And strangely enough Body Glove fits me better than anything else. They’re plenty flexible and durable too. If the suit fits wear it. There are allot of excellent quality wet suits on the market don’t buy the logo buy what feels right and you can expect good backup on. Good Surfin’, Rich
switched from Oneill to RipCurl this spring. I wear the 3/2 ultimate elasto zip free. NIIIIIIIIIIIIIICE! So comfy and warm and flexible. A bit annoying to get in and out at first, but after a couple of times you get used to it and then you love it. But like they said, some suits fit better than others but for some reason the elastos seem to stretch a bit more. One size tip on the rip curl, if it feels a tad snug when dry, then you know you have the right fit.
I bought an XCEL Infiniti 4/3 last Fall. Great suit, warm, front zip, the only way to go. Only complaint is a series of small, fingernail size half-moon tears that keep recurring in a four by four inch area on the chest of the suit. I glue them shut and no further problem. An odd thing though…the XCEL 3/2 Infiniti sells in my area (Santa Cruz) for $269, yet the 4/3 goes for $284. Too much $ for the former, and a good price for the latter. Go figure.
