The above board is just a salvage off a broken blank. I didn’t intend to do it that way when I started out on the blank. The board will obviously have some fairly narrow limitations and it’s not going to work in any conditions with a lot of curve - nor was it intended to. I’m not even doing the board for myself. For myself and the reason I originally posted this thread I’m still favoring a Transition Era type shape/rocker.
Gdaddy what are the dimention of that board? Is the wide point set back of center?
The template is a mutt. Like I said, the board started out being 8-3 with the wide point a little forward of center. After it broke I just retemplated the rear half.
7-3 x 22 x 2.1/2. 17" N, 19" T, 13" tail block. Wide point is 3" behind center. About 49 liters due to the rocker, flat deck and dropped rails.
As I say, I still want to do a singlefin for myself. It’s going to look a lot different than this.
gdaddy: Here is a plan that would work:

Michael - that is a very functional looking surf machine!
Thanks for posting - I just printed it up, and stuck it in with my Thrailkill templates (yep - I got em!!) in my "to-do" file.
