Is the RR epoxy compatable with water based acrylic ???

Yes, it is compatible, but you will want to seal the color before lamination. I use water based regularly. The only trouble is that the RR epoxy will smear the color across pinlines or tape lines if you are not very careful. Sealing with clear solves the problem. And you know, sometimes it doesn’t smear. Maybe I let the color dry better or I was not so agressive in the lam strokes. good luck.
Brian, I made two RR epoxy boards, and they both had sprayed-on water based Liquitex acrylic paint: rails and the entire bottom. I didn’t have any bleeding or running of the paint on either board. It could be the brand of paint, or maybe the fact that I didn’t spray it TOO thick, although the color was solid. Both were in the Yellow - Orange range of color. Some colors bleed more: like red.
