Rusty Bigcat

A few of us have been exploring the thicker wider midlength for older / heavier surfers. There are a couple big-cat inspired boards in that thread also.

Any surfer who has built up a good relationship with his regular shaper (or a few preferred shapers) has no need to get the “new model” from one of the mass production big namers…it makes no sense at all…does Rusty know how you surf ?..the waves you surf ?..your weight ?..the last few boards you’ve had ?

Wow, I’m late to this…By 8 months…LOL

Actually I took the Husler out yesterday in waist to shoulder storm swell…It killer and still working. 

Its not actually Rusty I deal with…Its Hoy Runnels and He knows How I surf, what I surf like and the conditions I’m in. 

I got rid of a couple of these boards and I’m going to add a McCoy Zot as well to the quiver.
