S.A. 2004 all booked up...

Ladies and gentlemen -

We are all booked up for S.A. 2004. If you have spoken for a spot, now would be a good time to send a check and let me know your t-shirt size if you haven’t already.

For those who want to take a chance, you might be able to snag a spot at the main campground on that weekend. If you live locally and are within a days drive, feel free to stop on by.

Thanks to all who have responded!

John,

How much and to what address? Looking forward to another beautiful weekend and hopefully more surf!

Hi Tom -

Your still on the list. See you there!

Dirk - As I understand it, some paipo/kneeboard folks will be up there before or after S.A. event? I’m bringing my friend Mat for sure.

Herb -

You’re definitely on the list. Glad to hear you can make it - it wouldn’t be the same without you.

Well then,

…I’d better get off my a** and finish some new toys.Herb

Hmm, I’d like to know more about that. I’ll definitely be bringing all my mats and a couple of old Lis fishes.

Wouldn’t be fun to get all the mat riders to take off on a big party wave together? Play bumper cars? I’d like to see a photo or video of that. The outermost limits of pure fun : )

John – can I still send you a check? sorry I was out of town over the weekend so am a bit behind on stuff…

if so, L is fine for T shirt.

thx,

Keith

Howzit Dirk, Spent the weekend with steve at surf contest and told him that his name comes up quite a bit here. I told him to get off his okole and visit Swaylocks. Steve and Betsy are really enjoying life on Kauai these days, even got him to judge the finals in the contest. He’s still on me to glass some boards for him. Aloha, Kokua

Keith -

You’re on the list.

Dirk -

Check this link. I’m not sure what their (KSUSA) plan is but I think they’re calling it Paipopalooza(?) They’ll be filling in after we leave.

John, Dirk,

Missed getting on the list but I plan on day tripping in as well with matts, boards, etc.

Be interesting to see how many matt riders show up this time. I know Peter(PCINSC- was at the SA2003) has got a new Dale matt and plans on being there. (talked to him yesteday).

Gary, glad you’re coming. It’s still a long way off but I’m really looking forward to it.

John, thanks for the link. It looks like the alternative vehicle spirit is alive and well over there! That’s great.

Kokua, it’s cool that Steve and his wife ended up in paradise with you. I know he avoids the public spotlight, but people who wanted his shapes as much as I did always found a way to get in touch. Hopefully fortune will smile on me again in that regard, because I’d love to get a fresh fish from him before too long. Meanwhile, I treat my old ones like pieces of fine art!

Howzit Dirk, I’ll talk to Steve and find out how he’s taking care of orders from people who live on the Mainland. I have his Ph# but I’m not sure they want it given out to just any body. But if they’re in the book it should be OK. Aloha, Kokua
