S-deck vs. stepdeck vs. spoon

S-deck- nose and tail scooped out. Stepdeck- nose scooped out. Spoon- nose scooped out? Is this right? What are the basic differences? Thanks- ole

Scoop is too strong of a word for the nose and tail taper in an S-deck > board. like PG said, for s-deck think of it as a finely tuned and tapered foil.Step decks are basically the same thing as a spoon,with (to me anyway) a slight difference.if someone says step-deck I think of boards that have a distinct step or bump-really obvious in otherwords.Someone says spoon I think of a really smooth, blended,almost undectable step.
