Hi all,
I’ll be in San Diego from Oct. 22-29 for a conference and was wondering if there might be any shaper/surfers in the area that might like to get together for a surf or gab about shaping. As I’ve never surfed California before…only the east coast and great lakes…I’d appreciate any guidance that may be offered.

Hey Dee – there’s a whole bunch of shapers & surfers here in San Diego. If you can make it to the Halloween deal, great – but it looks like your schedule is off by a day. Anyway, where are you going to be staying/surfing? Do you normally surf longboards, shortboards, kneelo, mats, what? There are N. County guys, S. County guys – I’m sure somebody would be happy to meet up with you for a surf while you’re here. Just let us know.

It figures that I fly out Friday afternoon! Sounds like it’ll be another great event.
