san diego to Bay Area board delivery?

well with a long weekend coming up I thought this might be worth a shot?  I have a new board that needs to find its way up to the San Francisco Bay area… anybody in SoCal heading up that way (driving, flying?).  I’d be willing to chip in 75 bucks for gas money or whateverd, and the board will be well packed in a board bag.  Doesn’t have to be any particular time or day; I can meet you somewhere to get the board moving, and my brother (who lives up there) would be able to meet you somewhere convenient for the  board transfer at the other end.

Anyway, if anybody is making that bit of travel, give me a shout…PM or reply here.  ALOHA!

Leon the board delivery guy does this trip 2 times a month

Amtrak is also a viable way to ship. Sent a board from Oregon to San Francisco for $50 station to station, arrived in perfect condition.

Keith,

A friend is driving up early  Friday to Monterey.  He’s bringing his boards.  Don’t know what kind of room he has, but might be able to do it this far.  Pretty easy to SF from here.  I could meet your brother in SC or maybe Crisp could move it north when he visits me the begining of June.  Goota run to work right now. Mike

Mike - sounds awesome, I have a brother in Santa Cruz too (although the board is not for him, he’s pretty close to you guys).  Let me know if your buddy might have room, maybe I can meet him somewhere?  It’s a 7’10" with removable fins.

the other options mentioned are great, just was hoping to do it swaylocks-style if possible.

Will  be in santa cruz fri and sat , could get it to san francisco pretty easy and will be in santa cruz again in about 10 days .
