Ladies & Gents, I am VERY pleased to announce the official launch of
SwayBay: The Surfer’s Marketplace (Version 1.0).
WHAT IS SWAYBAY?
SwayBay is an easy-to-use online marketplace where members of the Swaylocks.com community can buy and sell surfcraft and surf lifestyle merchandise in a secure & trusted environment. From big established brands to smaller specialized manufacturers to the guy cleaning out his garage, SwayBay provides all vendors an equal platform for selling and promoting their surf-related goods. For those that aren’t selling things, SwayBay also lets you post announcements and wanted ads.
BASIC RULES & GUIDELINES

Sell Freely: List what you please, as long as it’s surf related.

Buy Freely: Put it on plastic (PayPal, credit card) for instant gratification and hassle-free shopping in a fully secured environment.

Deal Amonst Yourselves: Sellers assume all responsibility for merchandise and fulfillment of purchases. Buyers assume responsibility for understanding the terms and conditions.

Communicate: I encourage all buyers to leave feedback for their seller – if it’s positive, it means a lot to the seller. If it’s negative, it mean a lot to your fellow shoppers.
START SMALL, THINK BIG
Think of SwayBay 1.0 as our starter site – a simple system where we can test the waters of an e-commerce marketplace. Version 1.0 allows members to list and sell individual items or multiples of up to ten via a secure network. In the near future, members will have the opportunity to take it to the next level, setting up and managing their own SwayBay Shops with many features. Buyers will be able to purchase multiple items from multiple vendors in one easy checkout process.
