SBC 6'x20 3/8x 2 3/4

The blank is a 6’2 A superfused EPS. 2#

The outline has a bump and is pulled in right between the intended fins

A cold beer or two after a night’s work of truing the rocker and outline.

Pre spackle. Boxy rails after the bump/pulled outline. Something I saw a bit on the Gold Coast.

This interupted my shaping for a couple of days.

Post spackle/screening. I might have re-shaped the rails after this pic was taken…or before…

Bottom Lam. 6 oz with 4 oz patches. 520 grams of resin mixed. Maybe 480 actually used.

Top lam. Taped on the bottom for a zipper lap. one layer 4 oz 480 grams mixed, maybe 420 used.

Logo inspired by Kung Fury. Made on the quick. Next time I’ll spend some time on the claws. One layer of 4 oz plus a big tail patch cant recal how much resin I mixed but it was around 520 I think.

.

Deck hot coat.

Bottom hot coat.

Both hot coats got a 130 gram paste and 330 grams hot coat. I would have used a bit more but I was about to run out of resin. It came out just fine.

Finished Board. Sanded to 320 and not polished.

6 deg. and 10 deg.

Deep concave.

Looks awesome!

Looks awesome!

Really liking this one Sirwanksalot…

So, I’m a little confused… what did you end up with glass wise?

6 on the bottom and single 4 with patch on the deck?

The logo is great

Thanks grasshopper and chrisp, The board is 4+4+ 4 patch on the deck and 6+ 4 oz fin patches on the bottom.

Looks really nice.

Gotcha…

lookin’ really good.

Do you consider this a twinzer?

That is the idea, however this is my first try and I’m using fin positioning advice I got via PM on the surfermag forum. I also have longboard sidebites in front…gotta make some suitable canards after a couple of surfs.

Nice work , I realy like the foil shot. how wide did it end up?

Dear Sir…

Nice! 'Was just wondering, what brand/type of epoxy (I presume seeing as it’s an EPS blank) did you use on this?

Cheers!,

Thanks, it’s 6 foot by 20 3/8 by 2 3/4.

It’s Fiberglass Hawaii aluzine. This one for some reason is quite yellow…

 Cheers!
