I got some cheap blanks from Matt Ambrose last week. He is cleaning out old blanks from his where house in Pacifica.
Now I have to decide what to make first. The blanks in my shed are a 6’1"Pescado Marko 1.7EPS, Surfblanks Australia 9’2" RED LB with gun rocker & 8’8" split- no stringer gun blank red, and a US Blank 6’5" R orange.
I am thinking the 6’5" R would be fun to make a nuggetish- Double diamond-shape.
I thought it would be fun to try to go oldschool and use a Skillsaw to cut the outline. It worked like a charm and made a nice square cut. Now I just need work to slow down so I have time to get it done before summer.
