Hey Guys! Setting up to paint a cut-out type design on the entire bottom of a new board, on the foam. Read the archives and now I have a few questions. Unfortunately my design requires a total tape-up of the bottom and rails. Once cut out, I would like to seal the tape edge to reduce bleed under. I saw reference to using “Future” and wondered if this is still the best route. Also is it necessary to thin it a little and what to use to thin it with (to spray). I have access to the full line of Liquitex products and I see that seems to be the preferred brand. Has anyone used the paint products from Surfsource in Florida? I have several spray guns and compressor, used to paint cars so the spraying is not new to me. Spraying on foam IS new to me. I know this has been a common topic but with new products coming out all the time I thought there might be some new info out there. Any tips would be appreciated. MLC
try self-stick contact paper for masking off an entire board.
