Anyone shaping in the Seattle metro ? Care to let me visit/watch/ask questions ?

I’m buying the Shaping 101 & Glassing 101 vids and ordering supplies soon, but would really like to see the process firsthand if at all possible.

Thank you Taylor! I’m certainly willing to make the PDX trip. As a matter of fact, I’m planning on traveling to the area to pick up a new Cort Gion 9’2" in a few weeks… it would be great if the timing works out to kill two birds with one stone, but I’m game either way.

Perhaps we can get together via the phone and go from there.

I’ve been to Perfect wave , nice little shop, and I know that Mike at DaBoardShack does a BYOB (build your own board) gig, so I am reticent to ask if I can just hang out and watch/learn for free WHILE they’re trying to make a buck. Maybe no worries. I was simply thinking in terms of hanging out/learning without feeling like I’m digging into someones time. I’d probably be somewhat offended if someone refused a bid from me only to ask that I show them how to do the work on their own.
