If you have no problems with Poly; Why not stick with Poly. It’s alot more trouble to work out all the little issues with Epoxy. There’s alot of things that can sometimes come up with Epoxy during the process. You have to know alot of tricks to work around them. Poly is predictable. If you have issues with Poly, they are usually the same issues. With Poly you can find the solution to the recurring problem and fix it so that it doesn’t happen again. With me it just preferance.

This is an example of squeegee first then fill coat that is also on the Entropy Super Sap website.
Tackify!!! That’s a new one one me. Two Hotcoats and all the little extra time and tricks… I’ll stick to UV Poly and at most a “cheater”. Two sides lammed and hot coated, ready to sand on a sunny day in 2 1-2 — 3 hrs. Both sides! If you don’t mind the extra time and work then I am sure you got enough money for the board from your customer to make it all worthwhile.
McDing The only reason for using epoxy right now is the polyester smell. It feels more relaxing using epoxy when everything doesn’t stink of resin for a couple of days. I really like the UV resin. I got a tanning bed that I use but all the resin that goes on the floor ( at least for me while doing swirls) really makes my garage a hazardous zone for a week or more.
I do like the extra durable epoxy boards. I bump into things while loading the boards on the roof and so on and they never ding.
Thanks for the videolink. Will try that next time for sure. But i think I will tape the rail apex.
