Selling Boards In Hawaii After Vacation??

220-

Take the fish and the longboard to Surf Garage on King and University. Are you on Oahu? There’s a high demand of fish in the islands. Guys here are still trying to figure our the shape…

Take a look at what fish are going for in the shop. Talk to Toru Yamaguchi. You could sell it and get your shipping money.

…or, if you’re cool, see if any of the Hawaii Swaylockers need one. I don’t, but someone might.

Good luck.

Several of the shops will consign them for you (15 - 25%) and mail you the $ once they sell.

Hey guys,

I was thinking of doing the same thing after my trip is over on kauai. If anyone wants em I will be getting rid of them cheap. Probably sell them for what they cost me.

220 when are you going?

I am going august 2-17th.

Better keep them cheap

We can buy top of the line boards here for under $500 sometimes as low as $350 from some of the best shapers in the world…

Off brand boards are hard to sell since their are so many HP name brands.

If you want to get a hint on used prices here check out Roys www.RVSOCEAN.com or www.surfboardshack.com.

SurfnSea Haleiwa might be another spot to try they usually get all the pro’s left overs when they leave so something different might go for the tourist and GI buyers… But everyone here is getting surftechitis, NSP, or boardworksitis lately.

Your talking tourists or students buying these…

I’ve seen them come into Roys and asked to trade in a beater for something on consignment…
